Enrico Pazzali, Chief Executive Officer
ENRICO PAZZALI has been on the Board of Directors of EUR SpA since 28 August 2015 and on 4 December 2015 he took on the role of Managing Director of the Company.
He was born in Milan in 1964, and is married with two children. Graduating in Business Management from Bocconi University, with specialisation in Work Organisation (March 1990), in the years that followed (September 1993 - March 1995) he attended a Master in Business Administration as part of the Bull International Management Program (École Internationale de Paris) and subsequently various Strategy and Management courses (1994, 1999 and 2002) at the European Business School, London (EBS). His professional activity started at Bull HN Information System Italy where he initially worked as a Sales Representative - Local Public Administration (March 1990 – June 1992), continuing to become Account Manager – Local and Central Public Administration (July 1992 – December 1994) and ending as Sales Executive (January 1995 – July 1995). From August 1995 until November 1997 he held the position of Retail Automation Manager at Shell Italia SpA and immediately after this entered Compaq SpA where he distinguished himself first as Strategic Alliances Manager (December 1997 – August 1998) and then as Sales Manager for Italy – Local Public Administration (September 1998 – August 2000); on behalf of the same Company he also became a Member of the Board of Directors of the Consortium for creation of the Turin Technology Bio Park (1999-2000) and of COREP – Consortium for Permanent Research and Education, Turin (1999-2000). In September 2000 and until October 2002 he worked at Omnitel Vodafone SpA as Corporate Sales Manager - North East Area. From November 2002 to May 2005 he was Central Strategic Marketing and Business Development Manager at Poste Italiane SpA where in 2004-2005 he was also Chief Marketing Officer for the Group and Member of the Board of Directors of Postecom SpA until June 2005. From July 2005 to December 2006 he held the position of Central Manager of Organisation and Staff, Equity and Information Technology Systems for the Lombardy Regional Authorities. In 2007 he joined Fiera Milano SpA where from the start he held the position of General Manager (January 2007 – April 2009) and later that of Managing Director (April 2009 – April 2015). Within the same corporate context he took on the role of Member of the Board at Nolostand SpA (a company in the Fiera Milano Group). During the same years (July 2008 - September 2009) he was also Member of the Board of Directors of Sogei SpA and a member of the Supervisory Committee for that Company. Since May 2013 he has been Vice President for Strategy at EMECA - European Major Centres Association, the association that unites the 22 most important exhibition centres in Europe. Over the years he has also held the following positions: lecturer in Management of Information Technology Systems (Second level Master's degree in Integrated Management of the Logistic and Production Line); lecturer in a series of seminars at ASERI – Alta Scuola di Economia e Relazioni Internazionali dell'Università Cattolica (Catholic University School of Economy and International Relations); lecturer at university courses and conventions on information technology sector and TLC questions (Sole 24 Ore SAP Forum Università Cattolica); Senior Manager on the Talent Academy project, sponsored by Vodafone, to train 12 university graduates within a Master's degree preparing them for the world of employment; lecturer at the Master's Course in Promotion and Management of Culture and Tourism, Structure and actors in the tourism chain - Trade Fair-conference sector for IULM. |
