Table for the Salone del Pubblico (G. Ulrich)

This is one of the four tables that survived war damage and was destined to furnish the large public hall at Palazzo Uffici.
The table consists of a large top slab and a base divided into two sections, which are covered with striped Italian walnut.
The various components have been designed to allow rapid dismantling and re-assembly for maintenance purposes. With no decorative elements, it responds to the rigid philosophy of self-sufficiency, which gives priority to the "perfection of the model".
One of the tables is currently on the first floor in the Sala Quaroni.
